Hello! I am Olivia Tortorella, a scenic and props artist graduating with a BFA in Theatre: Design, Technology, and Management from Montclair State University in December 2025. ​Being raised outside of Chicago, I was fortunate to have access to live theatre, and I developed a passion for the arts while I was young. After spending 12 years performing onstage, I decided to step backstage in high school, where I quickly fell in love with tech and design.

Through mentorship from designer Erhard Rom, and working hands-on in scene shops, I have sharpened my skills and gained technical and creative experience . Working as an assistant to other artists, I have developed a strong eye for detail and always look forward to collaborating with new creatives. As someone who loves to learn, I always look forward to another opportunity to grow and take on new challenges.
